Truly an amazing insect...not afraid, nor concern for humans. I really enjoy being around Bee's, they have their own protocol, purpose, and direction. I can stand inches from them and still not affect their designed purpose. I discovered the term, "busy bee", really is a fact of their mannerism. It reminds me of the behavior of the people on the Washington DC, Metro...there is a purpose and direction of every individual traveling through the tube and nothing can
influence or divert their attention from their end goal.Non the less it was a pleasure photographing these amazing insects...and it appears to me they have a pair of eye's or sensors on the top of their head that can watch for on coming bees or other intruders that will intrude on their airspace!
